LED lighting component manufacturer Plessey has announced the launch of its new 7070 high-power LED series. The PLW7070 product leverages its proprietary silicon-based gallium nitride MaGIC technology and offers the industry-leading standard high-power LED package size, expanding the existing i2LED high-power product line.
Plessey's new 7070 Series LEDs provide high power and improved thermal performance for lighting applications in demanding environments and significantly reduce the cost of existing solutions. Its main features and advantages are the use of custom aluminum nitride ceramic lens packages with low thermal resistance of less than 2 °CW-1.
