On November 18th, Pegasus Robot released its first consumer-class drone, J.ME. This small drone is dedicated to making it easier for more ordinary users to enjoy drones and enjoy aerial photography.

The J.ME drone is equipped with the world's smallest dual-axis mechanical stabilization gimbal. The gimbal includes a roll axis and a pitch axis with a pitch range of -15° to +90°. The independent IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) can detect the attitude of the gimbal at any time. The PTZ control algorithm drives the real-time dynamic reverse compensation of the motor, which can instantly eliminate the influence of the vibration of the aircraft propeller and the flight attitude change in the air on the image quality.

J.ME also uses a 76° wide-angle and F2.0 large aperture lens to shoot 4K HD video, 13 megapixel photos, and 32GB of internal storage. The J.ME body is small and light, measuring 169x169mm and weighs about 550g (the whole battery is included).

In terms of battery life, J.ME can last for 23 minutes on a single charge. In addition, the smart battery can be replaced to avoid the shortage of power. J.ME uses a four-cell series lithium-ion battery structure, including four 18650 lithium batteries with a single-cell capacity of 3000 mAh.

J.ME uses MTK ten-core three-band 64-bit high-performance processor, clocked at up to 2.6GHz, with fast and accurate processing capabilities. The IIFC professional flight control system enables intelligent and precise positioning, flight and hovering of J.ME drones.

The J.ME Flying Artifact uses advanced IPRV depth self-learning computer vision technology to automatically recognize the subject and follow the shot. Users can also use the APP control to change the direction and height of the flight to achieve surround tracking.

In addition, J.ME supports flight and precision hovering in indoor environments without GPS signals, and is equipped with an advanced optical flow + ultrasonic positioning system that allows J.ME to sense horizontal position and flight altitude. The horizontal positioning accuracy is 30 cm and the vertical error is 10 cm.

The J.ME drone is equipped with a binocular obstacle avoidance function. When flying indoors, if there is an obstacle ahead, J.ME can brake intelligently and automatically hover. J.ME has three intelligent control modes: mobile phone, voice and body. Even beginners can quickly and unobstructedly master drones.

The drone will start Taobao crowdfunding on November 30. The crowdfunding price is 2,499 yuan, and the market price is 2,999 yuan.
