The retirement of Dr. Ruediger Mueller brings an era of change to OSRAM Opto Semiconductors and LED technology. Dr. Mueller has been responsible for the Siemens optoelectronics semiconductor business since 1988 and was the founding CEO of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in 1999, successfully combining Siemens' LED and infrared components business with OSRAM's lighting technology.
