When it comes to TV soundbars, the options in the market are somewhat limited. However, those that do fit the bill often come with significant challenges. Today, I’d like to introduce you to the Xiaolang S10, an intelligent soundbar from Guangzhou Ailang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Can it meet both your and your family’s expectations? Let me share my personal experience with this product.
A few days ago, I received a long and heavy package. When I opened it, I was surprised to find the Xiaolang S10 completely wrapped in foam and plastic, almost like it was being transported across great distances with care.

The Xiaolang S10 is essentially a smart soundbar with integrated genuine content. What particularly caught my attention were three key features. First, it integrates speakers—two 20-cell tweeters, two 3-inch woofers, and four 3-inch passive radiators—providing an excellent sound experience. Second, the Ethernet interface supports Gigabit, ensuring faster video switching responses. Lastly, it supports Bluetooth/WIFI/AUX output, making it a great choice for direct mobile phone connections when listening to music.
The overall design of the Xiaolang S10 is rather simple. On the front, there’s only the Love Wave logo, while the top features a touch button. This button serves multiple purposes: turning the device on/off, switching between Bluetooth channels, and controlling the microphone, music player, and interface for pausing and playing. Additionally, you can switch between network, Bluetooth, and AUX functions by touching the left and right sides of the circle. Volume adjustments and song navigation are also easily done without relying solely on the remote control, offering users great convenience.
The appearance of the Xiaolang S10 is mostly covered with a stainless steel mesh cover, featuring a simple design style that fits perfectly as a TV audio-video companion at home.
The back of the main unit is packed with interfaces: HDMI, Ethernet, dual USB ports, AUX IN, along with Bluetooth and WIFI. All these interfaces are readily available! You’ll notice small holes on the left and right sides. These are for fixing the Xiaolang S10 onto the wall. Love Wave has provided several nails for users, who only need to align the HDMI and power cables to perfectly combine it with the TV and wall.
Although the included floor mats are small in size, they are numerous and offer excellent anti-slip effects on tables. Oh, and it actually comes equipped with two low-frequency speakers, making me even more excited about its sound performance!
The remote control design of the Xiaolang S10 is relatively straightforward, using two No. 7 batteries. The button feel is soft and moderately firm. Personally, I think there’s room for improvement.
The power adapter’s cord is flexible, unlike some rigid wires from TV boxes, and the craftsmanship is quite good.
An HDMI cable is included with the product, though its exact specifications are unknown, it’s sufficient for network video playback.
When booting up, a long strip of breathing light appears above the original logo! In WIFI mode, the light is white; in Bluetooth mode, it’s deep blue; in AUX mode, it’s green. The long breathing light effect is very eye-catching!
My home TV is 60 inches, and you can see that the Xiaolang S10’s size is not large. Its small yet exquisite body with a strong metallic texture makes it a true piece of art at home!
The key to the Xiaolang S10’s ease of use lies in its humane system interaction. Let’s take a look at its system functions. The home page design of the Xiaolang S10 is very simple, divided into six major categories: select, TV dramas, movies, variety shows, animations, and all. Each section is rich in content.
Clicking into a video resource, I found that the original Xiaolang S10 system integrates iQIYI’s video resources. Both in terms of video content and the display of extended resources, it performs well.
In the app store, you can see three modules: video, games, and applications. Whatever you want is simply too convenient!
System upgrades provide both online and local file upgrades. Currently, I’ve upgraded the system to the latest version through an online update.
I’m relatively unfamiliar with the White File Manager application, but after reviewing its functions, I found it has many highlights. Here you can uninstall apps, clean up memory, facilitate multi-screen interactions, and provide necessary software. Additionally, users can directly access photos, music, videos, and other content from their USB drives.
The Xiaolang S10 system integrates Storm Media Player. It should be noted that it doesn’t include internet video resources but is a pure player. Given the Xiaolang S10’s powerful hardware configuration, playing 4K videos via Storm Video also ensures extremely smooth playback.
The system has built-in MIDI music and MIYA karaoke apps. These apps feature rich music resources and, combined with the Xiaolang S10’s speakers, deliver a high-quality sound experience.
Pressing the remote control’s settings button in any interface calls up the sound options. Here, you can adjust the bass at four levels and enable or disable the GDS virtual surround sound. For its sound performance, I will describe in detail below.
Through numerous internet video resources, it can be seen that the clarity of the video resources it provides is reliable. However, many newer video resources require membership to view.
It’s estimated that young friends are very interested in the playback quality of the Xiaolang S10, so let’s talk about its sound performance.
Films and TV Series: The Xiaolang S10 uses a dual-tone cavity design. The sound leveling is excellent and can bring a good three-dimensional feeling. With two full-range speakers and two subwoofers, the playback quality is higher. When watching a movie, I prefer to turn on GDS virtual surround sound. For a product with a more concentrated speaker, it’s generally difficult to reflect its sound field, but through GDS virtual surround sound, the sound seems more open. The various sound elements in the film works seem to be surrounded, though there’s still a gap compared to a real movie theater, but it basically brings a better sense of the surrounding. Additionally, when I increase the bass boost to the maximum, the depth of the bass performance used to set off the movie won’t be as thick as in a real movie theater, but the low-cut and cohesive low frequencies can bring more impact to my viewing. Good audio-visual enjoyment.
Music Playback: Here I just use the built-in microphone music experience. I think when listening to music, I prefer to turn off the GDS virtual surround, and to enhance the bass to a minimum. This time, you can reflect a good resolution. The Xiaolang S10’s sound layering is quite good, and the music experience can still feel profound. Among them, the vocals are more pleasing to the ear, clear music is loud and clear, and the sound is more balanced. However, in terms of sound transparency, individuals feel that they need to improve. It’s worth mentioning that this product will not be distorted and broken even if the volume is turned up to the maximum. It’s difficult for the small-wave S10 to burst so loudly.

The Xiaolang S10 is a product with fairly balanced overall quality. It has left a deep impression on me in terms of design, system fluency, and sound performance. In particular, my home’s own 2W Sharp TV’s own speakers are actually in front of it.
