Guanglin, Yuhong and other Taiwanese factories successfully won the bid for Xiamen and Guangzhou LED pilot projects

[High-tech LED News] Li Bingjie, chairman of the Taiwan Optoelectronics Semiconductor Industry Association (TOSIA), said that cross-strait cooperation will promote LED lighting, and will complete the first purchase amount of about 100 million yuan in the Torch High-tech Industrial Park in Xiang'an District, Xiamen. Yuan LED street light pilot program.

Li Bingjie said that with the support of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan and the National Development and Reform Commission of China (hereinafter referred to as the National Development and Reform Commission), the two sides signed a letter of intent for cooperation on the pilot project of cross-strait semiconductor lighting in June 2010 through the cross-strait bridging working group, selecting Xiamen and Guangzhou. The demonstration pilot zone is an important indicator of cross-strait industrial cooperation.

This time, Xiamen mainly built LED street lights. The project was carried out in two phases. 1,000 new LED street lights were installed on the newly built roads with a purchase amount of 100 million yuan. The first demonstration site will be installed in the Torch Park of Xiang'an District. It will be installed with 413 street lamps from Taiwan's Guanglin, Yuhong, Yujingguang, Delta and Xiamen Xinda, Xiamen Tongshida, Xiamen Hualian and Shanxi Guangyu. Dongguan, Qin Qin and other lighting manufacturers contract, will be completed in the near future.

Guangzhou is the subway lighting renovation project, which is implemented by TOSIA and the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance (CSA). In the Guangzhou demonstration case, the lighting improvement project will be carried out for 14 stations of the Metro Line 2, with a total purchase amount of about 200 million yuan. It is expected to be completed in 2012.

Li Bingjie said that the next LED pilot plan will be for high voltage (HV)/AC (AC) LED and cold zone special environmental lighting research and product application for Shanxi and Harbin. The pilot project between the two sides of the strait has been successfully launched, which will lay a good foundation for future cooperation in the LED industry between the two sides.
