Xbox One X's first week sales are encouraging

Interestingly, Sony’s PS4 Pro, which is a more affordable option compared to the Xbox One X by around £100, took nearly a month to reach 80,000 sales in the UK. Despite its lower price point, it still managed to surpass the initial sales of the Xbox One X in the region.

Aaron Greenberg, Microsoft's head of Xbox marketing, recently confirmed the launch of the Xbox One X. He expressed excitement about the UK market's performance, stating that it wasn't an isolated success but part of a broader trend across Europe and even more so in North America. However, he didn't release specific numbers, keeping the exact figures under wraps for now.

In addition to hardware sales, the Xbox One X has also been gaining attention for its software support. Several major game studios have already released or announced 4K enhancements for their titles. For example, games like Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Call of Duty: World War II, Destiny 2, and others now offer true 4K options on the Xbox One X.

Even Blizzard has joined the trend, announcing plans to release a 4K graphics patch for "Watch Dogs 2" specifically for the Xbox One X. This move highlights the console's growing appeal among gamers who prioritize visual quality and performance.

With continued support from developers and strong early sales, the Xbox One X is making a solid impression in the competitive gaming market. Whether it can maintain this momentum will depend on both hardware demand and the availability of exclusive titles in the coming months.
