Research on Detection Method of Photoelectric Color Performance of LED Lighting Products

In recent years, with the continuous development of LED technology, high-power semiconductor lighting devices have been rapidly developed in recent years, especially the white light power and light efficiency continue to improve, LEDs gradually enter the field of lighting, triggering a new revolution in the field of lighting technology. . LEDs are arranged and combined in different ways and optical design, forming a variety of LED lighting products, and the research and development of LED lighting products are in full swing in China, and the performance level of LED lighting products is gradually improving. Under the premise of adopting the correct test method, accurately measuring the photoelectric color performance parameters of LED lighting products is the basis for scientific evaluation of product performance, quality status and development trend. In view of the current status of photoelectric color performance testing of LED lighting products, the author combined with the accumulation of LED products in the work of the center, and combed and summarized the detection methods of photoelectric color performance of LED lighting products.

First, the general evaluation of LED lighting product performance indicators

1. Classification of LED lighting products

LED lighting products can be divided into LED lighting (e.g.: LED road lamps, LED floodlight with embedded LED lamps, LED tunnel lighting, decorative lighting LED, LED lamps) and substitute traditional lighting LED lamp (e.g. : Self-ballasted LED lights, MR16, PAR lights, straight tube LED fluorescent lamps T8/T12, etc.). LED lighting fixtures are those that include LED-based lighting elements and mating drivers, light distribution components, components that secure and protect the lighting components, and complete lighting fixtures that connect the appliance to the branch circuit components. LED lights for lighting can be divided into non-integrated LED lights and integrated LED lights.

Non-integrated LED lamps contain LED arrays (modules) or LED packages (components) and standard lamp caps as well as other components of photometric, thermal, mechanical and electrical components. The LED light needs to be installed in a fixture with a standard lamp holder and LED driver . The LED light cannot be directly connected to the branch circuit.

Integral LED lamps contain an LED array (module) or LED package (component), LED driver, standard lamp head and other integral combinations of photometric, thermal, mechanical and electrical components. The LED lamp can be mounted directly on a standardized lamp holder and can be connected directly to the branch circuit. The biggest difference between LED lights and LED lighting is that LED lights need to be installed in standard lamp holders.
