Fault 1: The high voltage indicator does not light, the fan does not turn

Generally, the power fuse is blown or the high voltage generating circuit is faulty. To disassemble the electrical test to know the specific problem, you can check the following steps.

1. Check if the fuse is blown. If it is broken, check the cause and replace it.

2. Check if the booster transformer coil is burnt out. Use a multimeter to measure its resistance. If the coil is open or shorted, replace the same type of transformer.

3. Check if the rectifier tube and capacitor of the voltage doubler rectifier circuit are damaged and the oscillator stops vibration. Use a multimeter to detect the relevant components one by one, and then replace the burnt components to eliminate the fault.

Fault 2: The high voltage indicator is on, but the fan does not turn.

The high-voltage indicator light is on, indicating that the circuit generated by the high voltage of the power supply is normal, and the fan may be faulty. Because of this solution: Check if the fan blade is stuck by foreign matter, whether the bearing is seriously worn, and if there is no abnormality, check whether the motor lead is broken and the winding is damaged. It can be measured with a multimeter. If the winding is open or open, replace the fan motor of the same specification.

In the case of a negative ion air purifier, the following faults may also occur:

Fault 3: Negative ion generator fires between the poles

Check if the humidity of the ambient air is too high, or it may be caused by the bending deformation of the positive and negative electrodes. Use a tweezers to calibrate the pole piece. If it still ignites, move the air purifier to a dry place to try it out. Generally, the fault can be eliminated.

Fault 4: Low concentration of negative ion output

There may be too much dust on the filter and the electrode, and the positive and negative plates may be deformed, or the high pressure may be too low. can

First remove the dirt on the filter and the electrode, and correct the positive and negative plates. If it is invalid, check the circuit generated by the high voltage. Check the step-up transformer, rectifier, capacitor, etc. with a multimeter.

Fourth, air purifier maintenance
