Autopilot bus first appeared on the US National Road

The Arma Autopilot bus operates on a short route, only three blocks long. Moreover, this is only a trial operation, starting from January 11 to January 20. The test is still in progress. The all-electric bus can carry 12 passengers and travel at speeds of up to 30 mph, but was limited to 16 mph during the test.

This self-driving bus is equipped with multiple sensors that detect obstacles around it and an emergency button on the bus that any passenger can use to stop the bus. During the test, there will be a staff member on the bus to ensure the safety of the passengers.

The Arma self-driving bus was produced by the French company Navya, which has already placed the bus in markets such as Singapore, France and Australia.

This test will help Nevada achieve its goal of becoming a 21st century transportation innovation leader. Nevada has already attracted the test division of Hyperhigh One, the super high-speed rail company, and the Giga plant of Tesla, to settle in the state.
